How to configure your laptop to use our
wired Internet connections

(for wireless access configuration, click here)

"Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol" or "DHCP" allows devices to be automatically configured for the network. Most laptops are configured for DHCP by default, but some corporate laptops are set up with static TCP/IP information. In order to access the Internet here at the Library, your laptop has to be configured to use DHCP.

If you are unsure of how your laptop is configured, please contact your company's network administrator, or follow the instructions provided below. Please note that the Library cannot provide technical support, and is not responsible for changes that you make to your laptop to establish Internet connectivity.

Please Note: You will not be able to print from your own laptop to the library printers.

Important!
Before making any changes, be sure to record your current network settings.
