The State of Maine has some great
resources for older adults, Check out their new Portal
for Senior Citizens. You'll find everything from lottery results
to info on disability license plates.
We've
listed our own favorites below. Click on each heading to get to

Association of Retired People (AARP) In addition to lots of
useful links, be sure to check often for special focus articles
and online guides.
- ElderHostel--Take
a look at the catalogs here and find some exciting educational
opportunities.
- The
Third Age--The 'Third Age' is the new, extended period of
active adulthood which starts in the early 50s. It is
characterized by a sense of accomplishment and fresh beginnings
for individuals who champion a new view of what it means to be
older. Third Agers are active older adults.
