SERVICES

  • Library cards are free to residents and those who pay property tax in York.
  • Non-residents may purchase a library card for $35. This non-resident card is valid for one year.
  • There are two circulation periods for library materials: All videocassettes, DVDs, and blu-rays circulate for 7 days; all other materials circulate for 3 weeks.
  • Materials may normally be renewed once, unless there is a hold on an item. There is a $.10 per day charge on all overdue items. The library reserves a right to charge a fee if materials are requested through the catalog from other libraries, but not picked up when the materials arrive.
  • Free internet access — Use library PCs or your own laptop to access the Internet via LAN or wireless.
  • Reserve items from our catalog and other Minerva libraries online!
  • Photocopies: $.10 per copy
  • Printing from computers: $.20 per page
  • Inter-library loans for items not available in Minerva or MaineCat — $3 minimum per request

  • Delivery to shut-ins by the volunteers (Books-on-Call)
