While the library is closed, we hope you will visit with us online! We miss all of you, and are looking forward to when we can see you again at the library. In the meantime, get ready for our annual Summer Challenge! We are launching a fun and exciting program where you will read, complete activities and earn raffle tickets for chances to win real prizes! ALL ABOUT THE YOUNG ADULT SPACE

The YOUNG ADULT SPACE at the York Public Library offers an area specifically for our patrons in 5th - 12th grade, and is located on the lower level of the library.

The YA READING ROOM is reserved for quiet study and reading ONLY. The Reading Room is also where you will find the young adult collection. The YA collection offers fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, & popular magazines to borrow. We also have a selection of comic books to browse while in the library. Our comic book collection is delicate and does not circulate at this time.

If you are looking for a more energetic library experience you may use the YA PROGRAM ROOM. The YA PROGRAM ROOM permits chatting at a reasonable level, socializing, snacks, and has a variety of games and activities for you to enjoy with your friends.
